Dan Bodanis re: A Truly Great Event! | |
|
Hi to all!
I hope you are having a great week!
Please mark your calendars and plan to attend a very special event!
Friday April 25th from 6-11 PM is the 10th Anniversary celebration for Summit Garden Chinese Restaurant.
As most of you know, Summit Garden is one of the finest restaurants in Ontario and they offer up the best Chinese cuisine this side of Beijing!
This event will sell out quickly, so as a courtesy to all of my friends, I will ask that you contact me directly to book your tickets and I will secure your seating through Lawrence and Ken at Summit Garden.
The event features a fantastic wine tasting, an incredibly sumptuous 8 course meal, jazz that everybody loves with the Dan Bodanis Band, a silent auction with some great items, and lots more!
As mentioned, this event will sell out quickly, so please write to me immediately to secure your tickets.
Tickets are $75 per person and, if you would like to buy tables of 8 ($600) or 10 ($750,) you will need to move fairly quickly to get the best seating.
As in the past, Ken and Lawrence, the owners of Summit Garden are using this anniversary celebration to raise money for a very worthwhile cause. This entire event is dedicated to raising money for the Peel Children’s Centre.
Peel Children’s Centre helps over 3,600 children that are currently dealing with problems that you and I can’t even imagine! From broken homes, and helping children prepare for court appearances where domestic violence and sexual improprieties exists, to assisting children with varying degrees of mental handicaps, the Peel Children’s Centre is the premier organization in the community!
As the attached poster indicates, for every $75 ticket you purchase, you will receive a $35 tax receipt from the Peel Children’s Centre.
Also, anyone wishing to partner with us to raise donations, sponsor the event, or donate items for the silent auction would be welcome additions to our efforts to raise money for the Peel Children’s Centre!
I really hope you can make it, and please pass this email along to all of your friends!
See you on the 25th!
Dan
PS. My direct email is: danbodanis@rogers.com. Please write to let me know how tickets you would like. Thank you! 2 April 2008 09:55am - Mississauga Ontario Canada |

Happy New Year! | |
|
On behalf of the band, I would like to wish everyone an absolutely incredible New Year that is filled with happiness, success, love, and of course: "Lots of Jazz!"
2007 was a year of change, southern migration, and for some: termination.
Having spent the first week of September recording in Los Angeles with LA's best studio musicians, including: Dave Weckl as Engineer and Producer, Mitch Forman on Keys, and Gary Meek on Sax, it became apparent that the bar had to be set much higher and that in music, there is absolutely no place for great musicians that were anything less than great and caring people.
LA was a truly life-enhancing experience and we recorded 11 tracks, which will be out sometime later this year, along with a completely revamped website (once I find a web designer that would love to do the gig! Referrals welcome!).
We hope you check back often for updates and we hope to meet you through our music.
All the best in 2008!
Dan Bodanis
