Our children had a great time at the jazz festival. They enjoyed the music very much and asked when they could go see your band again! In the little short time Domenic was watching we didn't realize how much he was influenced by you until he was playing the next day and we could see some of his drumming was definitely reflecting some of what he saw you do. It was quite neat and funny! He was swinging his head and lifting off his seat and really getting into the music! Glad we were there! Thanks for sharing your great music!! 13 August 2006 02:42pm |

Thanx for writing up the GREAT Chet Baker encounter. I'm a trumpet player and a huge fan of Chet's. Drugs took over his life, unfortunately. You are an excellent writer, smooth, clear, literate. The Dan Bodanis Band will be performing at the Oakville Jazz Festival on Friday August 11, from 7-9 PM!
The venue: the East Stage, located on Lakeshore Road, 2 blocks east of Tralagar.
The band will be performing two very high energy sets and will feature an eclectic mix of jazz and fusion, with a special tribute to world renowned jazz pianist: Chick Corea, Admission is free and the music will be burning!
