My wife and I heard your band, for the first time, at the Oakville Jazz Festival, and, we were totally overwhelmed with your group's performance. Muscular, vivid, high-energy....can't find enough words to describe the performance. "I Love Lucy" and "Match" were sizzling musical master-pieces... absolutely sensational.....in addition, your sincere and casual rapport with the public and your fellow musicians is commendable...you're a perfect host! We experienced the absolute best in jazz at your performance! The members of your band are absolutely astounding!! Unbelievable talent - and an unbounded passion for their music! 27 September 2005 03:30am |

Hello To All, Saturday August 7th from 9:30 - 11:30 PM, "The Dan Bodanis Band" will be closing the "Oakville Jazz Festival." The stage is located on the north side of Lakeshore Rd, between Allan and Reynolds. (2 blocks east of Trafalgar Rd.) Admission to the Oakville Jazz Festival is free! Legendary jazz piano player: Bernie Senensky, Time Warp's incredible bass player: Al Henderson, and phenomenal tenor man: Bob Brough will be joining me for an evening of music by Chick Corea and John Coltrane. (Chick 'n Trane) This will also be the first public event where you will be able to buy our new CD of jazz standards: "That Was Then." The good people at L'Atelier Grigorian (fantastic CD shop located at 210 Lakeshore Rd East, on the south side, in downtown Oakville.) will be selling our new release in their store. They will also be hosting three booths at various locations, during the jazz festival where you may also buy the latest releases featuring Bernie, Al, and Bob! Please pick up a copy of "That Was Then," you'll love it! Hope to see you there! Dan :)
