Birth Announcement for Sabian |
|
Birth Announcement! Proud, “first-time producers,” Kelly and Dan Bodanis would like to introduce the outstanding results of their very successful and most recent, off-screen collaboration: “Sabian Elijah!” “Sabian Elijah” is a heart-capturing story about a beautiful young, healthy, baby-boy that traverses the spectrum of: family unity, love, happiness, success, great health, fun, the support of great friends, the passionate pursuit of dreams, and much more! The prelude to “opening night” saw Kelly fastidiously pouring over copious quantities of “name-based” research that Dan provided. Imagine her happiness; that “Ah-Ha” moment, when she discovered the name: “Sabian” and its definition: “Peaceful Eastern Wind and Goodness.” Further along the lines of “symbolism;” Kelly and Dan chose “Elijah,” as this will no doubt be the source of greatest “profit” for the happy production team! First Showing: “Sunday June 26th, at 11:26 AM,” saw “Sabian Elijah” (weighing in at a very healthy 7.6 pounds!) and Kelly doing exceptionally well in their respective “Starring Roles!” In her past roles, in the productions: “Crazy For You, Evita, Sophisticated Ladies, Grease, World Goes ‘Round, Sugartime, Earth Final Conflict, Wife of 20 Years, Amazing Gourmet Chef, Phenomenal Baker, The Cause of Dan’s Additional Girth since 1983, and the Most Beautiful Woman on the Planet;” Kelly has been studiously preparing for this most exceptional role; a role of a lifetime: Motherhood! With the grace and poise that only a world-class dancer, former “Miss Dance Canada, and exceptionally well-reared person (Ok, the rest of her looks pretty amazing too!), Kelly has entered into this “leading lady” persona with a maturity and confidence never before seen! While Dan is rather exhausted from all of his “Supporting Character Duties,” (but happy, and in need of fine dark Belgian Chocolate and a few more trips to the gym!); he has once again proven himself to be a worthy provider of all the necessary ingredients for drumming up a successful launch, a good financial plan, and the requisite amount of campy humor! The incredible: Dr. Kimberly Wintemute, the fantastic staff at “Family Clinic,” the ultra-supportive nursing staff at North York General Hospital: Jackie, Jeannine, Andrea, Candice, Nicole, Natalya, Cheryl, and Jennifer! Dr’s Laine-Gossin, Kapoor, Grigori, Kuindersma, Rosenthal, Davidson, & Mark, and “Doula Extraordinaire:” Yelena Skorik, were exceptional in their roles as supporting cast, and could not have created a better ambiance for the launch of this great new “adventure-based” love story! Special mention, a standing ovation, and a tremendous round of applause must to go to Police Constable 8885: Daniel Iehoshua, of the Toronto Police Service, 33 Division! Police Constable Iehoshua was kind, thoroughly professional, and absolutely superb, in the performance of his cameo role as “Unplanned Police Escort for the lost and highly excited father,” while Kelly’s contractions were one minute apart! The “Producers” of “Sabian Elijah,” would like to thank all those who have weighed in with significant contributions in their concurrent roles as: “Family, Surrogate Aunts, Uncles, Parents, Grand-parents, God-parents, Fantastic Neighbors, Baby-sitter Wannabe’s, Nanny’s, Shower-throwers, Gift-givers, Advice givers, Clients, Painters, Belly Touchers, Financial Advisors, Colleagues, Lawyers, Judges, Psychiatrists, Actuaries, Drummers, Former Drum Students, Senior Management and all of the Head Office staff at Dundee Wealth Management, Office staff, Martial Artists, Actors, Fellow Macedonians, Dancers, Musicians, Singers, Band-mates, Well-wishers, The official gourmet caterer of the “Sabian Elijah” production crew: Summit Garden Chinese Restaurant, Father Waters and Father Coughlin at St. Andrews RC Church in Oakville, and the entire staff at the Black Forest Bakery on Lakeshore Road in Oakville!” And to the official breakfast palace of the “Sabian Elijah” senior production staff: Sunnyside Grill, “Thanks for all those great meals on Sundays, after Church!” Of course, the producers would be remiss if they did not properly acknowledge the providers of: personal security, the teachers of “unconditional love,” and the “backyard fertilizer production team:” Bear and Portia! 27 September 2005 03:08am |

When I'm not making cappucinos for the likes of you 'artistes', I'm actually among your ranks as a mere admirer and amateur vocalist. It's always exciting for me to meet people in the scene, and Dan you've always been such a pleasure. Definitely one of my favourites! Great site. For other jazz in the area, check out Heather Bambrick (friend and coach once upon a time) and The Montreal Jazz Festival! -Katie 27 September 2005 03:07am |
