Eric Boucher, is a "drummers dream" to perform with. His melodic and harmonic concepts are both spontaneous and adventurous, all the while maintaining a degree of musicality comparable to the art Monet creates with brush and canvas. The true genius in Eric is exposed when he ventures out while soloing, using polyrhythms, metric modulation, playing over the bar, and beat displacement as if he were a world-class drummer!
One of the greatest compliments you could ever pay to a musician, is to study with them. Eric is my piano and music theory teacher!
Eric can be contacted by E-mail at: eric.boucher@sympatico.ca
On the rare occasion Eric cannot make it to a gig due to prior commitments, The Dan Bodanis Band has been graced with the presence of some very fine piano virtuosi. Bernie Senensky, Tony Padalino, and Hilario Duran!!! Need I say more?
